Scott’s introduction into the world of tactical operations began in the US Army in 1985 where as an Infantry Officer, he was assigned to the 12th Special Forces Group. His law enforcement career began in 1991 and has included tenure as a Major Crimes Detective, Patrol Supervisor and 10 years with SWAT as a Breacher, Entry and Assistant Team Leader. Scott was awarded the Medal of Valor for actions during a hostage rescue operation in 2007.
Scott has trained at Sports Lab since 2005. Sports Lab’s staff has worked with him to address specific strength & conditioning and movement patterns related to Scott’s tactical work as well as addressing his previous injuries. Scott’s personal improvement through his training at Sports Lab lead to him working with Sports Lab to design programs for others in the law enforcement community. Specifically, he helped design functional training programs for tactical teams, a specific instructor program for tactical operators that addresses functional/applicable physical fitness testing and training for tactical teams that include and address the fitness/movement issues related to the aging operator.
Scott is the founder of HAVOC International, a company that designs and manufactures high-end specialty tools for the tactical community as well as providing tactical training to law enforcement and military personnel.
